It's not a rare day that I find myself grateful that loved ones I've lost went before their personalities - or piecemeal simulations of them - could be captured by giant tech companies (and/or sold back to me). I think, for me, *not* having the insights into how (an AI predicts) they would have responded to various life events that happened since their passing has been important. It's made it possible for me to wonder about it, to be curious, and while I can't quite articulate _why_ I find that wonder-ment healing, I definitely feel that I do.
